However, it provides termites access to their source of food and this could also create a passage for them to get access your home. If you wish to minimize the risk of having a home that’s infested with termites, you should not store wood based products in your crawlspace. They must be stacked several feet away from your house and keep the woodpile, if possible, elevated off the ground.
